Descendants of Thomas SPEERS & Ann EVANS

Thomas and Ann emigrated from Ireland and settled in Caledon Township, Peel County, Upper Canada. Their daughter Ann married George FLEMING in 1831 and they had a family of at least eight children. This family relocated from Caledon to Sydenham Twp, Grey County about 1850.

George and Ann's oldest son Samuel married Margery HOPPER and they farmed on the 4th of Elderslie until they retired into Paisley in 1891.

George and Ann's daughter Ann married William DAVISON. The DAVISON Family are one of the principle families on our Home Page. George and Ann moved to Bruce County in 1871 and farmed on the 20th of Greenock. They retired to Paisley in 1912.
