Moose Jaw---- Funeral service for Mrs. Fanny Sellars, 79, of 957 Albert St. was held here recently. Born near Durham, Oct. Mrs. Sellars settled in the Elbow district in 1911, where she taught school before marrying Thomas Sellars in 1917. For several years the couple lived in the Findlater district, where Mrs. Sellars continued teaching at the Sunset School. In 1951, she moved to Moose Jaw.
She is survived by her husband; one son, William of the Findlater district; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Johnson of the Findlated district, Mrs. Irene Stroud of Cadillac and Edna Sellars of Moose Jaw; one brother , Raymond Ector of Elbow; three sisters, Mrs. James Blake and Mrs Ethel Wankel, of Elbow and Bertha Ector of Davidson; 16
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Interment was in Rosedale Cemetery, Moose Jaw.
Fanny married Thomas Henry SELLARS, son of Thomas SELLARS and Monica Margaret McDONALD, on February 28, 1917.3 Thomas was born on February 22, 1887 in Rat Portage, Kenora Dist, Ontario, Canada,3 died on May 7, 1979 in Moose Jaw, , Saskatchewan, Canada3 at age 92, and was buried in Moose Jaw, , Saskatchewan, Canada.
