Descendants of Samuel & Nancy FLEMING

Apparently Samuel FLEMING died in Ireland and Nancy came to Canada prior to 1830 with at least three of her children, George, Samuel and Elizabeth Ann "Nellie". They settled in Caledon Township, Peel County, Upper Canada.

Daughter Nellie married Samuel SCOTT. They lived for some time in Albion Township, Peel County and in 1855 they relocated to Elderslie Township, Bruce County.

Son George married Ann SPEERS in 1831 and they had a family of at least eight children. This family relocated from Caledon to Sydenham Twp, Grey County about 1850.

George and Ann's oldest son Samuel married Margery HOPPER. and they farmed on the 4th of Elderslie until they retired into Paisley in 1891.

George and Ann's daughter Ann married William DAVISON. They moved to Bruce County in 1871 and farmed on the 20th of Greenock. They retired to Paisley in 1912.
