This Descendant Journal contains all the descendants of Jan LIJMBACH (1748-1786) and Ijbertje JAKKEN (1741-1807)that I have been able to identify to-date. They were married 1772 in Alkmaar, Noord-Holland. Jan and Ijbertje had at least three children that I am aware of, all born in Alkmaar. Their first son Engelhart, born 1873 died as an infant, second son Engelhart (1785-1853) lived in Alkmaar and apparently did not marry. Unfortunately Jan LIJMBACH died before his daughter Jannetje (1786-1853),was born. Jannetje our direct ancestor, married Volkert KRABMAN and lived in Oudesluis, Zijpe, Noord-Holland, see picture below, where they had a family of at least twelve children born to them.
