John SEILER, born in Switzerland. He was a wagon maker with his father, Albecht, in Welllesley Twp., Waterloo County, Ontario in 1861. He married Barbara FOERCH in Wellesley and by 1871 they were living in the Mildmay area. By 1881 John had established a wagon making business in Eden Grove, Brant Twp, Bruce County, Ontario where both he and Barabara raised a family of seven.
