James and Elizabeth emigrated to Upper Canada about 1840 settling with their family in Egremont Township, Grey County. Their daughter Mary Ann VOLLETT married Samuel T. ROWE, one of the founders of the village of Paisley in Bruce County. Mary Ann died shortly after giving birth to a daughter Mary Ann. Mary Ann ROWE married James SAUNDERS in Paisley, Bruce County. |
