William and Jane were married about 1826 in Cornwall, England. Circa 1834 they emmigated to Canada with at least three small children. They apparently settled in Eramosa Twp, Wellington County, Ontario and moved to Bentinck Twp, Grey County in the early 1850's. By 1858 the family was living in Paisley, Bruce Co, Ontario. William and Jane both passed away in Paisley.
