The marriage of Mr. Jonathan Metcalfe of the 14th con, Greenock, and Miss Louisa Roumey was quietly solemnized at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. Joseph Roumey, of the 12th con, Greenock, on Wednesday, Dec. 28th, at 8 pm, in the presence of the near relatives of the contracting parties. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. McKinnon, M.A., B.D., of Pinkerton. The bride looked very pretty in a dress of cream cashmere, and was unattended. Her little sister Ida, dressed in pink, acted as flower girl. After the ceremony was over, the happy young couple received the congratulations of their friends, and all proceeded to the dining room to partake of a sumptuous repast. Many pretty and useful presents were received by the bride. Their many friends wish them much happiness and prosperity.
