OBITUARY FOR ELIZABETH DAVISON-WATSON
Paisley Advocate, November 1929.
Elizabeth Davison beloved wife of Robert A. Watson of Elora Road South, whose death occured at London on Thursday last, was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Davison, and was born on the 12th Con. of Sullivan Twp. on May 8th, 1863. The family moved later to the 20th Con. of Greenock. The subject of this notice received her education in SS#8 School. She was married on Jan. 8th, 1887 to Robert Watson, and since resided with her husband and family on Elora Road South. Besides her sorrowing husband, she leaves to mourn her loss, three sons: Fred of Bladsworth, Sask.; Marshall of Brant Twp. and Melrose of St. Thomas; also six grand children, several brothers and sisters: James Davison of Flint, Michigan; Samuel of Chesley; Mrs. Carson and Mrs.Jane Daniels of Owen Sound and Dave Davison of Tawas City, Michigan.
The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon from the home and interment was made in the Paisley Cemetery, services were conducted Rev. Buell of Knox United Church.
Friends and relatives from a distance included Mr. Fred Watson of Bladsworth Sask.; Mr. and Mrs. Melrose Watson of St. Thomas; Dave Davison and son of Tawas City; Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Davison of Chesley; Mrs. Jane Daniels, F.S. McLachlan and family, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Carson, Mr. and Mrs.
J. Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Carson, all of Owen Sound; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carson of Tara; Mr. and Mrs. G. Ritchie, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ritchie, Mr. and Mrs. Art Ritchie, Mr. and Mrs. Howell, Miss Jane Ritchie and Mr. Sam Ritchie all of Durham; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Moffat, Pinkerton; Mr. and Mrs. Brown of Teeswater.
