General Notes: Jansje operated Pension Roozenoord at Guurtjeslaan 3 in Bergen HN. She retired when her daughter Miep took over in the early 40's. Jansje and her husband moved into "Ivy Garden" next door. In the early 50's she and her husband planned a trip to Canada to visit the son Jan. Unfortunately her husband Cor passed away in 1952 before he could make the trip. Jansje went to Canada by herself in 1953.

Jansje married Cornelis Jan "Cor" VAN DER PLAS, son of Jan Cornelisz VAN DER PLAS and Neeltje ZWAKMAN, on March 31, 1911 in Koedijk, , Noord-Holland, Netherlands.³ Cornelis was born in 1887 in Egmond aan Zee, , Noord-Holland, Netherlands,³ died in September 1949 at age 62, and was buried in Bergen, , Noord-Holland, Netherlands.
